The DNA garden needed a high point from which to view all the senses, and so here the double helix is a grassed mound. "More is differerent" again. The "more" becomes another surprise: around the back, hidden from view, is a black cave-like entrance to a secret grotto, a place of escape into another world.

One enters the womb-like space. Horizontal lines of black and white dazzle the eye as they metamorphose from the base to the top, from straight lines to undulating folds. What strange objects appear in the gloom? Light cannons, tiny telescopes, are oriented toward the morning and evening sun. Small holes aimed at high noon project an "M" on to the wall at certain moments of the year. Two seats, with optical vibrations below, have eyes on the top. If one discovers how, these tops can be rotated, revealing more hidden pleasures and words – or sat upon for private conversation. An eye totem is straight ahead which also pivots.
