1.

Garden of Cosmic Speculation, 1989-2007. Forty major areas, gardens, bridges, landforms, sculptures, terraces, fences and architectural works.

2.

Landform Ueda, Gallery of Modern Art, Edinburgh, 1999-2002 (with Farrell and White). A landform based on a strange attractor and the flow of earth and traffic.

3.

Spirals of Time, Parco Portello, Milan, 2002-2008 (with LAND). An urban park in northwest Milan with three major landforms, ponds, gardens, and sculpture.

4.

Maggie Centre, Glasgow, 2002-2003. Moundette, garden and DNA sculpture with RNA planting and twists in aluminium.

Water-War Garden, France, 2003-2004. Keynote water garden for the Chaumont Festival on their theme of Chaos and Life.

Cells of Life, Bonnington near Edinburgh, 2003-2008. Under construction: Galactic Mounds (right); 8 mounds, 4 ponds (left) signifying the life of a cell.

Dividing Cells, Maggie Center, Inverness, 2003-2005. Mounds as cell related to mitosis and the signals they send to each other to remain healthy. For a cancer caring centre.

Northumberlandia, north of Newcastle, 2005, 2008+. Landform as gateway to the North by a major roadway.

Rail Garden of Scottish Worthies, Portrack, 2003-2006. Three bridges designed with engineers Scott Wilson. A rail garden and 17 moundettes plus an engine pulling the leaders of the Scottish Enlightenment.

10.

Memories of the future, Altdobern, Lausitz region, Germany, 2007+. Landforms and garden to celebrate the future largest lake district in the world.

Black Hole Terrace, for Beijing Olympic Park, 2008. 25 x 30 metres, with central rotating turnstile.

Possibilities for an Artland, Crawick, 2007.

Scotloch, near Kelty, Scotland, 2003, 2008+. Landforms and boulders for a coal site. A mappa mundi presenting the diaspora of the Scots around the world.
